Peachtree City MOBA is in full preparation mode as the 2016 PDL season is fast approaching. This will be Peachtree City MOBA's first season in the Premier Development League and steps have been taken to insure a competitive inaugural season. Practices almost everyday of the week are helping the coaches and players feel comfortable together and develop a playing style that will provide benefits in the upcoming season. 

One of the steps taken in preparation for the upcoming season, is a couple of preseason friendlies. Peachtree City MOBA travelled East to Conyers, GA, Monday night to take on the Georgia Revolution of the NPSL. This was MOBA's first game as a club. The Revolution had a few more games under their belt. 

Peachtree City MOBA started the game strong passing and moving the ball sharply. Relentless attacking paid dividends as MOBA score the first goal of the match early in the first half off a corner kick. A few minutes later, the Revolution equalized on a corner kick. The teams went into halftime 1-1. 

The second half seemed to be even with regards to scoring chances. MOBA seemed to control the majority of the possession in the second half. With five minutes remaining, the Revolution scored off a cross and the game finished 2-1. 

The friendly was a great opportunity for coaches Jordan Davis and Volker Harms to evaluate players and certain formations. There were lots of positives taken from the match. The coaches will be looking to build on the positives from the game moving forward. As more and more players finish final exams at their respective universities, the team is looking better and better. 

Peachtree City MOBA took Tuesday off to rest from the previous night's game. They held practice Wednesday and will also practice both Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the team travels to Nashville for another preseason friendly. The game will be against Nashville FC of the NPSL at 7pm (8pm ET) at Vanderbilt Stadium. This will be the last friendly before the first game of the 2016 PDL season. The first game will be in Clinton, MS against Mississippi Brilla FC.
