We are committed to keeping local residents informed and inspired through each of our media offerings. We firmly believe there is no greater community and we have pledged our commitment to regularly bring you closer to the stories that make The Local Bubble a place you never want to leave!
Hello! My name is Jamie Fukofuka and I created the Life In The PTC Bubble Page. I live in Peachtree City with my husband Solomone and our son Te'a. I have two other children named Christopher and Jessica. They are adults and live in Seattle, Wa. We love it here and feel there is no better place to live. We love to get out on the golf cart and explore the bubble. Everytime we come across something beautiful, fun to do or anything you can’t find anywhere else, I always say the same thing to myself…”I wonder if anyone else knows about this?”.
One day I decided I would create a page and share all the awesome things about Peachtree City. I started the page and added my friends. Each day I would add pictures and events that were happening. Then my friends started doing the same thing. Then they started adding their friend and so on and so on.
The page turned out to be just what I wanted it to be. I spend a lot of time reading and learning new things daily. Just when I thought I knew everything about Peachtree City a post is made and I see something new. I try to be as interactive with the group as much as I can. I feel like all the members have become friends.
I have been the sole administrator on the page until recently when I added Hector V. Herrera as my partner. We now admin the page together and have a new Local Blog, Weekly Newsletter, and a Business Friendly Facebook page. I couldn’t be more excited about the new extensions of the bubble page. We extend on posts that come from the bubble page and focus on local businesses.
My goal of keeping Peachtree City informed on all things that happen in the bubble has become more than a reality. It has become a passion for me.
Hello! My name is Hector V. Herrera. I moved to Peachtree City with my Fiance' Mercedes Perera in 2011 from our hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida. Looking for a centrally located area between our children and grandchildren, we settled on Peachtree City. We instantly fell in love with Life In The PTC Bubble and have been proud to call it home ever since. I recently moved just east of Peachtree City but I still work, shop and spend most of my time inside "The Bubble". I've never felt more at home than I do in this great City.
My professional background is in integrated marketing and media production. I met Jamie Fukofuka working for a local beverage marketing client. We both shared the same energy and enthusiasm for this community and saw great potential for growing the LITPTCB Facebook group into a fantastic local media brand. One of the things we really focused on when planning to launch our new business was sharing the stories being posted every day on the Facebook Group page. We both wanted to learn more about them and about the colorful people who shared them on the page. That sentiment led us to create a Local Blog and eMail Newsletter.
We hope to roll out more and more projects and programs to keep you all aware, informed and inspired. Life In The PTC Bubble is about community, neighbors helping neighbors, its about blossoming friendships and creating personal support systems to help us through our good days and our bad days. Life in the PTC Bubble is about knowing when you need a helping hand, there's always someone willing to extend it.
My goal of keeping Peachtree City informed on all things that happen in the bubble has just begun, but I can already see the best is yet to come!
