Champion Irish Dancer and International performer, Rowena Ryan-Schultz has been dancing for nearly 40 years… launching her international career with appearances at the World Irish Dancing Titles, in Ireland 1987, and winning her regional title over 30 times. Rowena has performed with such renowned artists as Stocktons Wing, Mary Black, Christy Moore, The Furey’s and many more. She has performed on international stages in Ireland, England, Scotland, Australia, Indonesia and the USA! Classes started under her instruction in April of 2006 – with her students flourishing in both performance and competition. Rowena’s academy offers students the necessary option of an accredited teacher at all of the classes in person, not by way of affiliation, with an emphasis on the correct technique being taught. Rowena’s dancers have performed at many local events, including the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Tyrone, the Great Annual Chili Challenge, The Dragon Boat International Festival many more. Having also passed her judging exam (ADCRG) the Rowena Ryan Academy offers your child something that only one other (not local) school in Atlanta can offer – instruction from the point of view of a teacher as well as an adjudicator.
